What do most of us do when we walk into any training facility? We run straight for our favorite machine and start pounding out the reps. Fantastic. The workout started with a bang and is probably going to end in a bang. One that is not going to end well for you though. Abdominal muscles, where are you?

Well, the good news is that your abdominal muscles are where everybody else’s is. So you haven’t lost it, misplaced it or sold it for a bargain! Tell me how to find it then! This is actually very simple, but not so easy.

We started with the Jane Fonda phenomenon. All dressed up in leotard and shin warmers. It was high impact bouncy aerobics and everybody bought the video tapes. Did everybody lose the weight? Then we moved on a bit, we started running an hour a day, 7 days a week. It was the in thing.
