Healthy is always best

We always have a choice in everything we do in life. Are we going to drink too much on Friday night and suffer for it the rest of the weekend or are we having one drink and have a fit and healthy, well hydrated weekend without toxins raging through our bodies? Are you going to binge eat from Friday night right through to Sunday evening and say that you will start again on Monday? Or are you going to have that one meal with a milkshake, some french fries and a burger, maybe a chocolate brownie...

Only a hotel gym? No problem!

We have all been on those holidays that we just decide, this is the holiday that is not getting in the way of my fitness goals. I am going to have loads of fun, let my hair down slightly with my eating and still try and get a reasonable workout in. You are all pumped up and then walk into the local facility or hotel gym and, wow, very little to work with. Why do we do it?

Do you ever ask yourself why you get up at 4:30 in the morning to be at gym by 5 to get your workout done? Or after a hectic day at work, why you actually stop at gym and not go straight home? Or if you are a mommy, and you are tired as hell but you still get in your car and drop the little one off at the gym’s child care and get it done (or when he/she is sleeping, grabbing that kettlebell and get 20 minutes of swings in before they wake up)? Because we can be as fancy as we want with cool...
